I've said before here that I have this huge huge medical fetish.  I think it's the fact that I am completely naked and vulnerable in front of a clothed authority figure that could do things to me or make me do things that are embarrassing.  I don't know why this kind of thing does it for me but it does and I've accepted it and really enjoy it.

I think the reason both you (and I) find it so exciting is due to an innability to cope with such extremes of discomfort.
